Apple releases iOS 14/10.3.3 for iPhone, iPad, iPod users which features bug fixes and security improvements. It would be the last tiny update for iOS 10.3 before iOS 11. Though it does not bring much surprise, it fixes some problems that exist in the older iOS versions including battery improvement.
Most of us can update without any problem, unfortunately, some users can't update to iOS 10.3.3. They either hang on verifying update, or get messages saying 'Unable to Install Update. An error has occurred installing iOS 10.3.3'.
If you are one of these few unlucky users, please read on and get some tips to tackle this issue.
If you get the error like 'Not connected to the Internet' when updating via OTA, the two things below usually help. Try and then update via OTA again
1. Resetting the Network Settings. Go to Settings > General > Reset >Tap on Reset Network Settings.
You can restart your iPhone/iPad by pressing and holding both the power button and the Home buttons (volume down button for iPhone 7/7P) and continue holding until the Apple logo appears. Apple is releasing the latest version of its iOS operating system on Tuesday, but if you have an older iPhone or iPad, you may not be able to install the new software. The company did not make a version of the new iOS, dubbed iOS 11, for the iPhone 5, iPhone 5c, or fourth-generation iPad.
To update to iOS 10, visit Software Update in Settings. Connect your iPhone or iPad to a power source and tap Install Now. Firstly, the OS must download the OTA file in order to begin setup. After the download has finished, the device will then begin the update process and eventually reboot into iOS 10.
